OK, good news on the customer requested improvements.  Some hardworking members of the team put together a list for you and it is available a week earlier than promised.  Our goal was to get as much of the information available without detailed descriptions.  Please use this list to discuss what you think on the Quicken User Forums (and while you’re at it help us identify some for next year).

Waiting for you to re-institute compatability or me to import my data that is QIF and only useable for Quicken 98 to 2004, but not in newer versions......... How hard can that be to script an Import function to make it possible for me to import my old data into a newer version??????

I'd like to see downloaded data, with Web Entry (as opposed to Direct connect), be initiated from Quicken - it's really annoying to have to go the web site to start the download, for those institutions that don't provide customers with direct download.

Also I have noticed that my Wachovia account never enters transactions correctly, so I have to enter them manually anyway - especially with reinvested interest or dividends.

I have a Quicken Deluxe 2000 that I have been using for several years. Something has corrupted and will not all the program to open, yet my data is stll there, I think. If I install Quicken 2006, will the old data transfer to the new 2006?

I have Quicken 2002 New User Edition and have used that for the last couple of years. Recently I had to reformat my computer. I had saved all my information but now when I reinstall Quicken 2002 new user edition it won't let me open my old files - despite the fact that it is the same edition. HELP????

I recently downloaded the latest update to Quicken 2004 Basic and when attempting to install I get the following message:

Patching Engine error has occurred, update not completed.

Can any help me overcome this?

I have a Dell running XP Prof. I have two printers, a HP P1000 connected to a USB port and a HP 6200 connected to a USB port. I just upgraded to Quicken 2006.

My Problem: I can't print to either of my printers from within Quicken 2006. I have no problem printing using any other programs I have nor did I have a problem printing from my earlier versions of Quicken. In reading some of the problems users were having with 2006, it seems many have this same problem with printing. Does Quicken have a fix for this problem or perhaps I have missed something in the setup. The program runs as if it was going to print but never does and my print queue for these printers will show nothing pending.

Does Quicken have a solution?

First, read the fine print about the New User Edition. It states that you cannot open the files on another version. You have to buy a retail version in order to have data that will transfer into any upgrade version. Thanks again to the Intuit designers that allowed this to happen. There ain't no free version of Quicken!!!!!

I just got a new computer and I am trying to transfer the files. The old computer was a 1996 Compac Presario with quicken 2004 delux on it.
The new one is a generic biotec. I have installed quicken 2006 but I an not get my back up file to work. I have transfered them to 3.5 discs, cd and flash drive.
It says it can not read them. It askes to put disk 1 in the drive but it will not operate.

What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do to transfer my old history and records to the new system

How can I open a Qdata file from Quicken 2006 in Quicken 2005. I have a data file from one PC that has a corrupted verson of 2006 on it and I want to open the data file on another PC that has 2005 on it. Anyway to accomplish this without being able to open Quicken 2006?

Have been using WQuicken for personal finance since 1991. Now using Basic 2006. Every three or four days my .idx file becomes corrupted whick I correct by using various backup files. . Pretty tiresome. Can you suggest cause and solution?
